1. Introduction

Welcome to Jo&Me . We provide online educational services to students in the United Kingdom and internationally. By accessing or using our website, booking a class, or using our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our website or services.

2. Services Provided

Jo&Me offers the following services:
Online tuition for students from Year 3 to A levels

Small group sessions
One-to-one sessions
Adult English language training
International student support and academic assistance
Recorded classes for absent students are available only upon parent request and are accessible for 3 weeks from the date of recording.
Recordings are for personal revision only; redistribution is prohibited.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any service at any time.

3. Eligibility & Registration

For students under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian must register, book, and manage the account.
You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date contact information.
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and confidential.

4. Payments & Fees

Payments are made monthly, in advance, at the beginning of each month. Payment confirms your enrolment for that month’s sessions. Payments must be made using our approved payment methods (details provided during enrolment). Failure to make payment may result in immediate suspension of services. Refund Policy We do not offer refunds for missed sessions. If Jo&Me must cancel a class, we will: Provide a replacement session. Refunds are not issued for changes in student availability.

5. Class Conduct & Responsibilities

Student Conduct
Students must:
Attend classes on time
Maintain respectful behaviour towards tutors and peers
Should Not record lessons unless explicitly permitted
Should Not share Zoom/meeting links, study materials, or login credentials

Tutor Responsibilities
Provide scheduled sessions punctually
Maintain a professional and supportive learning environment
Notify students of any unavoidable cancellations or changes

6. Recorded Lessons

Recordings are created only when explicitly requested by a parent in advance. Recordings are hosted securely by Jo&Me. They are available for three weeks only and then permanently deleted. Recordings may not be: Downloaded (unless specifically permitted) Shared, distributed, or uploaded elsewhere Recordings may contain the student’s voice or video; by requesting recordings, the parent consents to this.

7. Intellectual Property

All lesson materials, worksheets, videos, presentations, and other content produced by Jo&Me are protected by copyright. You may not: Copy, reproduce, or redistribute materials Share materials with third parties Use materials for commercial or tutoring purposes You may use our content only for your personal study.

8. Privacy & Data Protection

Jo&Me complies with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. We collect personal information such as names, contact details, academic level, and payment information for service delivery purposes. We may use third-party platforms such as: Zoom/Google Meet Payment processors Email communication systems By using our services, you consent to the processing of your data as outlined above. A full Privacy Policy will be provided on the website.

9. Limitation of Liability

Jo&Me will not be liable for: Technical issues on the student’s side (internet, devices, software) Any loss, damage, or data theft caused by third-party platforms Academic results, exam outcomes, or performance guarantees. Behaviour of other students in group classes. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by the user for the month in question.

10. Cancellations & Termination

By the Student/Parent
You may discontinue at the end of any monthly billing cycle by providing written notice.
No refunds will be issued for partially used months.

By Jo&Me
We may suspend or terminate access if:
Payments are not made.
There is disruptive or inappropriate behaviour.
Terms & Conditions are violated.

11. Changes to Terms

Jo&Me reserves the right to update or revise these Terms & Conditions at any time.
Updates will be posted on the website, and continued use of the services indicates acceptance of the revised terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
